In order for us to do our job, we need you to do yours! I've included a step-by-step guide below on what we need you to do, when you need to do it by, and how we're going to utilize that effort!

Onboarding Process

Step 1 - Welcome Video (See Above)

Make sure you watch the video above in it's entirety! This will detail at a high level everything you'll need to know from beginning-to-end: client expectations, onboarding next steps, etc.

THIS GUIDE IS CRITICAL TO YOUR ONBOARDING SUCCESS!

Below, we've built a simple to understand, step-by-step guide to getting onboarded with Columbus Media Group!

By the way, you can call us CMG for short...it's less of a mouth full.

And please remember, each of these steps is critical in the speed and execution of your onboarding journey! A one or two day delay "here or there" could lead to your ads being scripted, shot, edited, or launched weeks after we initially intended.

Life comes at you quick so carve out time and prioritize this so we can get your automated lead funnel working as soon as possible!

Step 2 - Onboarding Call w/ Anthony Baglivio

The first step in us getting the required information for your high-converting video ad script is you scheduling your Onboarding Call with our Director of Operations, Anthony Baglivio!

If you HAVE already gotten your Onboarding Call on the calendar, then go on ahead to "Step 3 - Script Review w/ Christopher Colon!"

If you HAVE NOT gotten your Onboarding Call scheduled yet, click the link below and find a time that works best for you. Try to book this no more than 24hrs from the day you've decided to join the Columbus Media Group family! We want to make sure that we work quickly and efficiently to onboard you so we can start getting you leads fast!

The goal of this call is to learn as much as possible about your target audience, your target market, your go-to-market-offer, and anything else that will be valuable to include in your script. The more information you can give us the better!

You've already made the choose to invest in growth for your business! Don't delay that growth by scheduling too far in advance.

Step 3 - Script Review Call w/ Christopher Colon

The day after your Onboarding Call, you and I will review the VERSION 1 ad script that we will build for you based off of all our notes from your Discovery Call with me and your Onboarding Call with Anthony.

Together, we'll read through the script in the exact way we'd suggest reading it on Ad Shoot Day, make any necessary tweaks, and when you're good with the final version, we'll schedule your shoot date!

The purpose of the ad script is to get high quality leads into your inbox through high-converting video ads and PRE-QUALIFICATION through our Facebook Lead Gen Form! All of this starts with a really strong ad script that answers three main questions for your target audience:

1) Who Are You?
2) What Do You Do?
3) Why Should I Do Business With You?

Step 4 - Ad Shoot Day

Once we lock the script on our Script Review Call, we'll find a time that works best for you to shoot your ads. I'll walk you through location, vocal delivery, and everything else you'll need to get ready for the actual shoot day.

There is one thing that will be ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL to the success of your ad shoot: PRACTICE YOUR LINES!

No, you DO NOT need to memorize the entire script and be ready to say it line-for-line in front of a camera. But PLEASE make sure that you practice as much as you can out loud so you are comfortable and familiar with everything.

We book 3hrs for each ad shoot but typically the average client will do the entire shoot in 2-to-2 1/2 hours. The fastest we've ever shot a complete ad script was 45min. The more you practice, the more we can focus on HOW you're saying the lines and the less we have to focus on helping you try to REMEMBER them.

We'll send the footage to our editing team the day of your shoot and you can expect to see a Version 1 of the final ads 72hrs later. We do our best to get this done quicker but it is subject to change based off of workload at the time. We appreciate your patience!

So, once you have your ad shoot done, that's where your homework begins!

Below, we've included guides on what you need to do to get setup on the systems that we use at CMG including Slack, GoHighLevel, and Meta Business Suite.

Step 5 - Google Suite & Performance Tracker

We will be giving you access to your own Google Drive which will host three main folders that we've detailed below. It is very important that you add anything of value in the "Documents" folder and familiarize yourself with the Performance Tracker!


Content: this is where we'll put all of your ad videos and scripts once they're completed!

Documents: Here is where we'll want you to add any and all relevant company documents, logos, existing media, brand guidelines, etc. We will use these (especially the logo and brand colors) in your ad campaign so please make sure you add these ASAP.

Performance Trackers: your Performance Tracker will be in this folder and it is the foundation to all of the changes that we will make to your ad campaign for the entire relationship.

As we said in the video above, we DO NOT make any decisions based off of emotion. In order to make accurate, logical decisions to continuously improve your ad performance we need accurate data from both the campaign and you! My team is here to help but we need you to do your part. At a minimum, please make sure you're communicating with us on Slack about what's happening with the leads every day and updating the Performance Tracker when you can find the time. Try not to go more than 2-3 days without updating it.

Remember, this is a GROWTH PARTNERSHIP! Our job is to crate high-quality, high-converting video ads that reach your target audience and get them interested in your offer. Your job is to "pick up the ball" once they submit the Facebook Lead Form. Step 6 - Slack

Slack is our MAIN FORM OF COMMUNICATION here at CMG! We have already sent you an invite to join your private channel on our workspace. There's no monthly fee for you and all that we ask is that you download the app on your phone and turn your notifications on!

In Slack, you'll have access to me and my entire team to answer any questions that you might have, help you through the entire onboarding process, and once we're done, we'll be able to talk through ad performance, creative adjustments, and any feedback moving forward.

I know, I know..."I HAVE TO DOWNLOAD ANOTHER APP!?"

YES! Trust me when I say that the better you stay in communication with us, the better your results are going to be!

Step 7 - GoHighLevel (GHL)

GoHighLevel is a very powerful client relationship management (CRM) tool that we use primarily to build automations and booking tool for our clients. While you DO NOT have to use this if you don't want to, you are more than welcome to if you find value in it. We HIGHLY recommend at least doing "Option 2" to help with "Booked Call Rates" and "Show Rates."

If you do, check your e-mail for an invite to join "Columbus Media Group's" GoHighLevel account and make sure you that you accept it! Send us a message on Slack letting us know when you're done and we will start working on your GHL build out.

So, there are essentially three options you can choose from:

Option 1 : Full CRM
While we're able to build your automations and booking tool, you are more than welcome to maximize your GHL value and build it out however you want! There are A TON of useful features including client contact sections, custom automations/workflows, lead opportunity tracking, and so much more!

Option 2: Automations & Booking Tool (OUR SUGGESTION)
99% of our clients use GHL strictly to increase touch-points with Meta leads. We're able to send automated text messages and e-mails to encourage leads to book in-person estimates and/or meetings without you having to do it manually. We're also able to send reminders to those leads about their in-person estimates and/or meetings so that your "show rates" increases and you don't have to hear, "Oh, I'm so sorry! I forgot we had a meeting today!"

Option 3: No GHL
Some clients elect to not use automations and utilize the CRM that they currently have implemented in their business and THAT'S OKAY TOO!

Step 8 - Meta Business Suite

Meta Ad Manager is the BREAD AND BUTTER of everything that we're going to do for you. It's where we'll load-in the high-converting video ads we've made, gather all of the data to make adjustments moving forward, and we'll be able to link this to all of our external platforms including Slack, GoHighLevel, and Google Sheets to track your Ad Campaign performance!

Below is a a step-by-step instructional to make this super easy for you and it only takes a couple steps!

Step 9 - Monthly Ad Meetings w/ Christopher Colon

Once your ads are live, we want to make sure that we have pre-scheduled, recurring Monthly Ad Meeting where we will discuss ad performance, potential adjustments we should make moving forward, and get any feedback from you about lead quality, lead feedback, and sales wins!

I want to be clear - this WILL NOT be our only touch-point!

Slack will always be where myself, my team, and you can communication on a daily basis. This is just a formal meeting with a strict purpose - consistent quality improvements from both of us!

The link below will take you to a calendar that you can find the best time that fits your schedule. We do Monthly Ad Meetings on Wednesday afternoons from 2:00-5:00p on a first come, first served basis. If you can't find a time that works for you please let me know and we will find something together!
